I mean business
Now that I feel like a new woman since turning 30 this past summer, I thought that it was appropriate for me to upgrade my wardrobe so it reflects how I feel on inside. Powerful and confident. This little number was found at Zara. They make a great suit, btw. While Zara doesn’t cater to my petite self (just under 5″), I still decided to purchase this power suit because of the quality and gorgeous color. I then made another investment in my tailor because I needed the jacket and sleeves to be shorter and more cinched at the waist. Not to mention all the work the pants required. It was a bit pricey I must admit, but it was worth it. The key to a suit looking powerful is that it needs to fit your body dimensions perfectly.

I wore this outfit for a panel I was on a few months ago during Hispanize 2018 in L.A. We discussed the business side of creating a brand through social media and I felt that this was the perfect look for the occasion having that there were also a lot of major brands in the audience.
I paired this look with a simple black cami, my go-to classy red bottoms, fun fringe earrings, and a super cool mini bag. This look to me had the perfect balance of business-chic and my personality because of the accessories and glam.

Suit: Zara | Bag: Zara | Earrings: Zara| Shoes: Christian Louboutin

The suit that I am currently wearing is sold-out, but I searched the web for my favorite SPRING versions available now.
