I’m riding shotgun on the 5 freeway on our way to check out a truck that Jesse has been eyeing for a few months now out in Bakersfield. I’m taking advantage of the 2 hour drive to get some work done on my blog (thank you tethering for existing). I’m also finally winding down from a very busy week of work and prepping for our trip to Chicago to visit my grandparents and tias! I am so excited to see them and spend a whole week with them. What makes it even better is that I’m also taking my Momma with us.
We’ve been having a wonderful summer; enjoying every little moment and thanking God for this beautiful and peaceful life. I’m turning 31 in August and the most prominent lesson I learned this year is that the only certain thing in life is change. A lot of things changed this year, which initially had me in a bit of shock, but I learned to embrace the beauty of not knowing what lies ahead. I believe that life only gets better. That’s actually a positive affirmation I say out loud in belief every day. Life only gets better.
Have a blessed and beautiful day and always look at the bright side of life.
