weekend Recap 2

Jesse and I at his nieces baptism. I'm loving his haircut, this Puerto Rican guy hooked it up. 

Tried out this facial mask this morning since I needed something to revamp my skin from last night.  I must say, its quite invigorating.

Remember Lucas Chili powder? Well, it was found to have lead in it and it was discontinued.  I LOVED that chili poweder with everything so I was very sad when I couldn't find it anymore.  I use to add lemon or water and just eat it like that, straight out of its container.  So when Jesse and I went to Olvera St we found Zumba!and to our surprise, it is Lucas but with a different name.

 Had the best Tacos al Pastor yesterday (which happens to be my favorite Mexican dish)

I can eat a dozen, as a matter of fact, I'm going to warm up some leftovers from yesterday right now. hmmmm

After looking at MY ROVER today, I am deeply in love.  Thank God for this new Job.

I don't think I can look at another car the same.  I didn't get it yet though, but with due time it'll come.

2010 Range Rover

New 2010 Lexus GS 10

Hey dolls,

It's finally time for a new car!!! 

Jesse and I woke up late (11:30am, I know)  because we came home late last night from a family party.  So in a few hours we are going to go look at the new Range Rover (which is the one I want more than anything.)

 I also love the new GS 10 Lexus, so we might go hit up both dealerships.  My mind is set on the Rover, so we might spend all evening there.  Right now I have a Nissan Altima 08 (which my parent got me, but I pay for, when I was in Iraq)  I'm a truck kind of chick.  I use to drive a 09 Tahoe which I gave back to my parents and now I'm yearning for it again.  I think I'm going to take you on this "adventure" with me and bring my camera along so you can see how I negotiate with the car sales men, haha. They don't know what's coming.  Thank you Dad for this trait!

Olvera St

Today Jesse and I went to Olvera St located in Downtown LA.  We love this spot because it reminds us of Mexico so much.  They sell the cutest Mexican souvenirs and candy.  Also we had lunch at La Golondrina Cafe which has the best, and I mean the BEST mexican food, plus the Horchata water (rice water) is homemade and its beyond delicious (I have never tasted horchata water this good in my life). Jesse had this band come over to our table to sing me a romantic love song. How sweet is he? I love him!

 The weather was great.  The sun was peeking through the white clouds ever so often.  The cool yet warm breeze felt just right on my legs and face and really let us enjoy the day.
